Losing nipple sensation after breast augmentation is very uncommon. The nerves to the breast come into the tissue on the sides of the chest. It is unusual to have the need to dissect that far to the side and cause damage to the nerves permanently. What is more common is temporary numbness or hypersensitivity due to the stretch on the nerves. This usually lasts a few weeks or so. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!
